What Are Uc and Crohn's disease?

UC disease, also known as Ulcerative Colitis, and Crohn's disease, are both inflammatory bowel disease, or IBDs. UC disease causes inflammation and ulcers, or sores, in the digestive tract, and the symptoms gradually develop throughout time. Crohn's disease inflames the digestive tract, leading to potential abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition. IBDs can be characterized by diarrhea, rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, fatigue, and weight loss. As of now, neither of them have cures, but we are working to support research regarding the diseases.

How can You help?

You can help donate, located on the donations page under the "More" tab, to fund research for IBD concerning cures, treatments, causes, and more. IBD is hardly discussed upon, so check out the "updates and news" tab to learn more about the diseases and updates.
